Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

MEDICLUS Co., Ltd. ("MEDICLUS", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We process personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.

This website does not offer membership registration. You can browse all pages without providing any personal information.

1. Information we collect

When you send an inquiry through the contact form, we collect:

  • Required: name, country, e-mail address, message
  • Optional: company or clinic name, phone number, product of interest, subject

Automatically, when you submit the form: IP address, browser type and the date and time of submission. We use this only to prevent spam and abuse and to keep the website secure.

Anonymous visit statistics. When you view a page, we record the page address, the website or search engine that referred you, campaign tags in the link, the terms you enter in the site search, your device type, browser language and the country estimated from your IP address. We do not store your IP address and do not use cookies for this — visits are counted with a code that changes every day and cannot identify you. We use these statistics only to improve the website.

2. How we use your information

  • To answer your inquiry and provide the product information, quotation or support you requested
  • To connect you with the authorized MEDICLUS distributor for your country, where applicable
  • To prevent spam, fraud and misuse of the website

We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not sell it.

3. Sharing with distributors

MEDICLUS products are sold through authorized local distributors. To respond to your inquiry, we may forward it to the distributor responsible for your country. The distributor uses your information only to answer your inquiry and is required to protect it. Other than this, we do not provide your personal information to third parties unless you consent or the law requires it (for example, at the lawful request of an investigative authority).

4. Where your information is stored

Inquiries are stored on servers operated for MEDICLUS in the Republic of Korea. If your inquiry is forwarded to a distributor in another country, your information will be transferred to that country for the purpose described above.

5. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for up to three (3) years after our last communication with you, so that we can follow up on your request and handle any related questions. Records that are no longer needed, or that you ask us to delete, are permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery. Spam submissions are deleted regularly.

6. Your rights

You may at any time ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Please contact us at the address below; we will respond without undue delay. Until a correction request is completed, we will not use or provide the information concerned.

7. Cookies and third-party content

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our visit statistics do not use cookies. Some pages include content from third parties — embedded Google Maps on the Location page and YouTube videos, which load only when you press play. These services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to stored inquiries.
