  • Chapter 1 General Provisions

    Article 1 (Purpose)

    The purpose of this agreement is to stipulate the basic matters concerning the conditions and procedures for using the internet service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by Mediclus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

    Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Agreement)
    1. This agreement shall become effective by notifying the users through the service screen or other methods.
    2. The Company may amend this agreement, and the amended agreement shall become effective by notifying or informing the users in the same manner as in paragraph 1.
    Article 3 (Definitions)

    The definitions of terms used in this agreement are as follows:

    1. Member: Refers to an individual or organization that has entered into a service usage agreement with the site or has been granted a user ID.
    2. Applicant: Refers to an individual or organization applying for membership.
    3. User ID: Refers to a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member and approved by the site for the identification and use of the service.
    4. Password: Refers to a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member to confirm the member's identity matching the user ID and to protect the member's privacy.
    5. Termination: Refers to the cancellation of the service usage agreement by the site or the member.

    Chapter 2 Service Usage Agreement

    Article 4 (Formation of Service Usage Agreement)
    1. By clicking the consent button at the bottom of the terms and conditions, it is deemed that the user agrees to this agreement.
    2. The service usage agreement is formed by the site's approval of the user's application for service usage after agreeing to the terms and conditions.
    Article 5 (Application for Service Usage)
    1. To use this service, the applicant must record and submit the user information required in the site's designated membership application form.
    2. All user information recorded in the membership application form is considered to be actual data. Users who do not enter their real name or actual information may not receive legal protection and may be subject to service restrictions.
    Article 6 (Approval of Service Application)
    1. The site approves the application for service usage, except in cases of paragraphs 2 and 3.
    2. The site may withhold approval for the service application until the following cases are resolved.
      1. When there is no spare capacity in the service-related equipment
      2. When there are technical difficulties
      3. When other reasons recognized as necessary by the site
    3. The site may refuse the application in the following cases:
      1. When applying using another individual's (site's) name
      2. When applying with false information
      3. When applying with the intention to disrupt social order or public morals
      4. When not meeting the site's designated service application requirements
    Article 7 (Rejection of Membership Application and Forced Withdrawal)
    1. The company may reject the membership application if an applicant uses another person's name or resident registration number.
    2. Even after approval of the membership application, if false information is detected or if the member damages the company's reputation or posts obscene or inappropriate content, the company may forcibly withdraw the membership.
    Article 8 (Change of User Information)

    Members must modify their membership information online if it has changed at the time of application. Members are responsible for all issues arising from failure to update their information.

    Chapter 3 Obligations of Contracting Parties

    Article 9 (Obligations of the Site)
    1. The site provides the following services to members:
      1. Sending newsletters on new services and domain information
      2. Automatic input of personal information when registering additional domains
      3. Various additional services for domain registration and management
    2. The site may not disclose, reveal, or distribute members' personal information acquired in relation to the service without the member's consent for purposes other than service-related business. However, the following exceptions apply:
      1. When required by government agencies under the Basic Telecommunications Act or other laws
      2. When there are investigation purposes for crimes or requests from the Information Communication Ethics Committee
      3. When requested in accordance with procedures prescribed by other related laws
    3. The site has the obligation to provide services continuously and stably in accordance with the agreement.
    Article 10 (Member's Obligations)
    1. Members must not engage in the following acts when using the service:
      1. Using another member's ID improperly
      2. Replicating, modifying, publishing, broadcasting, or providing information obtained from the service for purposes other than member use without the site's prior approval
      3. Infringing on the site's copyright or third-party rights
      4. Distributing information, sentences, graphics, etc., that violate public order and morals to others
      5. Engaging in objectively judged acts associated with crimes
      6. Engaging in acts that violate other related laws
    2. Members must comply with the requirements of relevant laws, this agreement, service usage guides, and cautionary notices when using the service.
    3. Members must comply with usage restrictions posted by the site in service announcements or separately announced for each content.

    Chapter 4 Provision and Use of Services

    Article 11 (Member ID and Password Management Obligations)
    1. Members are solely responsible for managing their IDs and passwords. Members bear full responsibility for any results arising from the mismanagement or misuse of IDs and passwords assigned to them.
    2. If a member's ID is used improperly or security breaches occur, the member must notify the site immediately.
    Article 12 (Service Restriction and Suspension)
    1. The site may restrict or suspend all or part of the service in the event of a state of emergency such as war, civil unrest, natural disasters, or anticipated occurrences thereof, or when a period telecommunication operator suspends telecommunication services under the Telecommunications Business Act due to other force majeure reasons.
    2. When restricting or suspending the use of the service under paragraph 1, the site must promptly notify the member of the reasons and the period of restriction.

    Chapter 5 Changes and Termination of Contractual Matters

    Article 13 (Information Changes)

    If a member wishes to change their address, password, or other customer information, they must use the website's member information change service to make the changes. Members are responsible for all problems arising from failure to make changes.

    Article 14 (Termination of Contractual Matters)

    Members may terminate the service usage agreement, and upon termination, they must apply for termination directly through the service, by phone, or online to the site. The site will restrict the member's service usage from the day the termination application is received. If a member wishes to terminate the service usage agreement under the following subparagraphs, the site must notify the member of the intention to terminate and provide an opportunity for explanation to the member at least 7 days before the termination measures are taken.

    1. If the member violates the usage restriction provisions or fails to resolve the restriction reason within the restriction period
    2. If requested by the Information Communication Ethics Committee
    3. If the member unreasonably refuses to respond to opinions
    4. If the member applied under another person's name or included false information in the application, or attached false documents, the site may impose restrictions on membership for a separately specified period.

    Chapter 6 Compensation for Damages

    Article 15 (Exemption Clause)
    1. The site is exempt from liability for damages such as failure to obtain expected benefits from the service or damages caused by the user's selection or use of service materials.
    2. The site is exempt from liability for damages caused by service disruptions or data damage due to the member's fault or intentional actions of third parties.
    3. The site is exempt from liability for the content of data posted or transmitted by members.
    4. For trademarked domains, any damages or compensation that may arise are the responsibility of the purchasing member, and the site bears no responsibility whatsoever.
    Article 16 (Jurisdiction)

    In the event of a dispute between the site and a member regarding the service, the court having jurisdiction over the site's headquarters shall be the competent court.

    [Supplementary Provisions] (Effective Date) This agreement shall be effective from April 2024.
  • MediClusters Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") regards your personal information as important and complies with the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection."

    Through this privacy policy, the Company informs you of how your personal information is collected, used, and protected, as well as the measures taken to ensure its security.

    The Company will announce any changes to the privacy policy through website notices (or individual notices) when revising the privacy policy.

    This policy will be effective from April 2024.

    Personal Information Collected

    For membership registration, consultation, service application, and other services provided by the Company, the following personal information is collected:

    • Collection Items: Name, ID, Password, Contact information, Workplace/Hospital name, Workplace/Hospital address, Email, Occupation, License number, Telephone number (optional depending on member's choice)
    • Collection Methods: Website (membership registration), Written forms

    Purposes of Collection and Use of Personal Information

    The Company utilizes the collected personal information for the following purposes:

    • Fulfillment of service contracts and provision of related services, content provision, delivery of goods or invoices, etc.
    • Member management: verification of identity, personal identification, age verification, confirmation of legal guardian's consent for collecting personal information of children under 14, notification of notices, utilization for marketing and advertising, understanding access frequency, statistical analysis of member's service usage, etc.

    Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

    After the purposes of collecting personal information have been achieved, the Company will promptly dispose of the information without exception.

    Procedure and Method of Personal Information Disposal

    The Company will dispose of personal information promptly after the purposes of collection and use have been achieved. The disposal process and method are as follows:

    • Disposal Process: Information provided by members for membership registration, etc., will be transferred to a separate database (or stored separately in a document for paper forms) and stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws and regulations (refer to retention and use period) before being disposed of.
      Personal information transferred to a separate database will not be used for any purpose other than retention unless required by law.
    • Disposal Method: Personal information stored in electronic file format will be deleted using technical methods that cannot reproduce records.

    Provision of Personal Information

    The Company does not generally provide users' personal information to external parties. However, exceptions may occur in the following cases:

    • When users have given prior consent
    • When required by law or requested by investigative agencies according to legal procedures and methods for investigative purposes

    Entrustment of Collected Personal Information

    The Company will not entrust customers' information to external companies without their consent. If such a need arises in the future, the Company will notify customers of the outsourced parties and the contents of the outsourced tasks and obtain prior consent.

    Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them

    Users and legal representatives have the right to view, modify, or request the deletion of personal information of themselves or children under 14 registered with the Company, and to request withdrawal of membership. To view or modify personal information or withdraw membership, users can click "Change Personal Information" (or "Modify Membership Information," etc.), and to withdraw membership, they can click "Withdraw Membership" after going through the identity verification process. Alternatively, they can contact the personal information manager in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company will promptly take action.

    If a user requests correction of personal information errors, the Company will not use or provide the personal information until the correction is completed. Additionally, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will promptly notify the third party of the correction results to ensure that the correction is made.

    The Company handles personal information that has been deleted or terminated in accordance with the "Retention and Use Period of Personal Information Collected by the Company."

    Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Personal Information Automatic Collection Devices

    The Company operates "cookies" and other devices to store and retrieve user information. Cookies are very small text files sent by the server operating the Company's website to the user's browser and stored on the user's computer hard disk. The Company uses cookies for the following purposes:

    • Understanding user preferences and interests, tracking user activities, and providing targeted marketing and personalized services based on event participation, visit frequency, and the number of visits
    • Users have the right to refuse to install cookies. Therefore, users can set options in their web browser to allow all cookies, request confirmation each time a cookie is saved, or refuse to save all cookies.
