Water-Soluble Vaseline & Separating Material

The-SEP is a water-soluble dental separating material designed to prevent unwanted adhesion between materials during clinical and laboratory procedures.

Based on the separating function of conventional petroleum-based vaseline, The-SEP has been developed as a water-soluble formulation suitable for dental use. This allows easy removal with water after use and helps minimize inconvenience caused by residue.

Application

 

  • Clinical Use

- Material separation during temporary restorations
- Separation between instruments and materials (e.g., matrix bands, clamps)
- Auxiliary use to reduce surface oxygen exposure during resin curing
- Prevention of excessive adhesion during temporary cementation
- Facilitates removal of excess cement during prosthetic cementation

- Separation between gypsum surfaces
- Prevention of adhesion during model work
- Mold separation during resin and acrylic procedures
- Protection of prostheses and model surfaces
- Separation support during temporary prosthesis and tray fabrication
